Bottling
The Winery | Winery

For storage and bottling, the winery has 32 vats with a capacity of 25,000 litres and two with a capacity of 250,000 litres, a bottling line capable of producing 3500 units an hour, and a warehouse for auxiliary equipment and storing the finished product..

On the bottling line, before being filled the bottles are flushed with nitrogen to remove any traces of oxygen that may cause the wine to oxidise. The bottles are then filled and corked. Before bottling, the wine undergoes two clarification processes, which at FINCA LA ESTACADA are not aggressive in any way, as this would cause the wine to lose part of its structure.
The first of these processes is clarification, carried out using gelatine and egg white, and then filtration, carried out at the winery using a cross-flow filter.

After filling and corking, the bottles are labelled, placed in boxes and then stacked on pallets.

Finally, the wine is ready for sale.
